KINO architects participated in the architectural design proposal for the Onomichi City University Library as a design team with Naito Architects. We proposed an architecture with an exterior that harmonizes with the existing campus facilities and an interior space that brings in soft light, while taking advantage of its privileged location in front of a water source pond. We aimed for the new library to be a bridge connecting students and a space for relaxation where anyone can feel free to use.
