The idea of the competition is to construct a palace, which contents the concert hall of the nation.
Generally, for a concert hall, the identity of the performers and visitors in the building is very different. The palace is a place that emphasizes a monument, a typology that actively involved in the city and defines the of the surrounding.
Based on the surroundings of residential and historical areas on this site, we proposed that people gather here, no longer being divided into performers and audience, but with various activities and cultural exchanges.It makes this palace a public space in the sequence of civic life and social activities. As a memorial on the top of a hill, its sense of substance will be fully presented and experienced.
